Review summary

Just keep your masks on, try not to eat too much if that’s at all possible, use the stairs is always a good idea. Be careful upstairs as the floors can get slippery when it’s wet. And remember to be kind to the servers

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarking was pretty easy but not the 15 mins that some people said it would take ( from Sydney )

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We are in the concerto restaurant most nights. Pretty good. I’m vegetarian and there was no problem there. Good staff

Alfredo's Pizzeria

5 out of 5

ALWAYS good here. Family loved it.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
It was fairly cool and windy so we couldn’t really do much of the outside stuff. Probably used the Princess live room more than anything else. But actually not even that much. Did see one or two shows are okay. One in particular was excellent

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Super glad to hear more modern music on board these days. Not just classical or jazz all the time in the atrium. Heard a fantastic range of music and totally approve. And everyone even the oldest of people all up dancing.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Always good, our room Steward Renzi was excellent.. for you wait staff that we had in concerto for a couple of nights were really good and very friendly. And everyone else did their job fine . I did have some queries for guest services but kept getting different answers but it all worked out in the end

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Spotless as usual. They do a great job

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a balcony cabin. We’ve had one before so we knew what to expect. Luckily we were right next door so some friends so that was good. Our steward Renzi Was really good. The room was big enough for us and there was plenty of storage. There was a few things that we didn’t get on this cruise that we normally do. The body lotion, soaps, chocolates on the bed. Just little things nothing too important

Ports of call

Port Arthur, Tasmania, Australia

1 out of 5
Due to poor weather the day before getting to Port Arthur, the company cancelled this port. By the time we got there the next day it was flat as a tack and we really could’ve gone there. But to make up for that we went straight to Hobart so we had to full days in Hobart. When you got off the ship there were plenty of people offering tours down to Port Arthur if you really wanted to go so it wasn’t too bad

Hobart, Tasmania, Australia

5 out of 5
We did a bus drive around Hobart on the first day because we didn’t expect to get there. We had lunch on one of the jetties, and walk around town. The next day we did a ships excursion to Richmond which was okay but nothing special, and then a trip to a winery on the way back which was okay as well. Not a bad day all in all

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We were on a back to back Cruise, and once we found out what we had to do, it was very simple and very seamless so we were happy about that

I put KEEP YOUR MASKS ON because that was the company policy in November…. And level 9 was partially closed due to Covid cases. I wasn’t worried… obviously not as I did three B2B. Snarky comments can be kept to yourself
