Review summary
I guess this is where I explain the title "PERPLEXED". I don't know whether or Holland America is to blame. But, why do you show a line titled "Cruise St Lawrence River" after Quebec City in the photo above? It looked like to me like we had the full day of cruising the St Lawrence, just like we had a full day of cruising the "Gulf of St Lawrence" 2 days earlier!!!!!
SO, I thought we would arrive in Montreal on Sunday morning, not Saturday morning. It cost me over $500 for hotel (booked the last day of cruising at VERY high cost) plus extra charges to change our flight arrangements.
You do list the numbers on the left of the photo above so that it says day 7 on both lines, but why do you have to have the second line 7 of "Gulf of St Lawrence" to confuse me???? NO REASON!!!! Or, you would have included a line for each of the other stops possible saying, "Cruise Coast of Nova Scotia!!!!
It's an ERROR, for sure. Someone owes me compensation for $500, either or Holland America, whomever is responsible for this OBVIOUS error!! Or please explain to me how "Crystal Clear" this is. Again, WHY is that line even there??????

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Food was good, if not very good. Choices were excellent with extra items available. Loved the omelet station and salad station. We dined at 3 Speciality Restaurants and liked them. They weren't 5 Star, but offered a little better experience over the standard choices. The regular waiter served restaurants were very good, almost as good as the Speciality Restaurants.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We used almost zero activities, preferring to just relax on our own, use the computer and play cards while at the Coffee Bar areas. Really liked the Explorer's Coffee Bar and used it many times each day.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We didn't see any shows, but enjoyed the violinist and piano player. They were Excellent!!

Service and Staff

All very well trained. Always very helpful.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
After learning that the ship will not be used after next year, I understand some of the deficiencies. It's just a little old, but still VERY nice. I'd sail on it again.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The ONLY problem with the room was the size and age of the TV. Could hardly see it and even harder to hear it. I asked another person if they could hear their TV and they said they had to request a new TV because the one they had didn't work, and the new did have adequate sound, so maybe ours was just old. Anyway, there is a huge wall on the left with only a scone light on it that could hold a big beautiful Flat screen TV.
Ship tip
No real complaints which is really pretty amazing!
First time to Quebec City and loved it. Sooooooo many restaurants and bars. Everyone was very nice and spoke English without hesitation. I'll go back there for a few days because of their attitude!
