Review summary
If you are looking for a drunk free cruise, to lovely places, with lovely (mostly) retired people, this is perfect. The ship itself is pristine, with wonderful smiling staff, eager to please. The dining room food was excellent, and the breakfast and lunch buffets were plentiful and very good.we usually book an inside room, but we had been upgraded to an Oceanview room. The room was comfortable and kept spotlessly clean. The piano bar was fabulous, and the lounge trio were excellent, as were the classical duo. The showroom entertainment isn't spectacular, but the comedians were excellent. The heated aft pool was one of our favorite
"get aways " spots, as well as the very comfy and we'll appointed Seaview library, complete with coffee cafe..
The itinerary was terific. We especially enjoyed Halifax, Montreal and Quebec City.
The ship docks right in the heart of the Old Town, in both Quebec and Montreal.
Everything is easily accessible, and the views are stunning. Sydney and Charlottetown are both small and lovely. Charlottetown gas the world's best mussels, and wonderful seafood shacks are right near the dock.
We actually did 14 nights on this cruise, Boston to Montreal and then back to Boston. The, on board activities were lackluster, but we enjoyed every moment.
This is not a cruise, , or ship, for children.
