Review summary
The ports were wonderful towns with interesting history, scenic views and friendly people.
The ship is in need of refurbishment, I heard rumors it was going to be sold off. The service on this cruise was poor. The crew was good but there weren't enough of them, I guess it's staff cutbacks. On other cruises you typically always see people cleaning and maintaining the ship, not on this cruise.
The open dining is a great idea, but making you wait up to 10-minutes after arriving to go to your table is frustrating. The entertainment was OK. The highlight was the piano man Jamm, he was wonderful to listen to. Just don't get too thirsty while enjoying the music, it took me 5-minutes to get a server's attention to order a drink while they stood looking up & down the adjacent hallway.
Room service was good one day and horrible the next. Ordered a bowl of soup it came quickly and was nice & hot. Next day ordered same soup which took 75-minutes to get delivered and was cold.
I will say the ship's emergency procedures appeared to be well rehearsed and efficient. While transferring from a tender to the ship a passenger fell between the gap between the two vessels right in-front of me. The ship sounded the "man overboard" alarm. The crew members present at the ship's platform were calm, quick and efficient getting the passenger out of the water and to the ship's infirmary.

Ship tip
Overall easy to get around once you remember you can't get from one end of the ship to the other on Deck 7. Leave your expectations at home and you'll be fine.
