Review summary

It was a wonderful experience, we made lots of acquaintances and a few close friends.

The staff was excellent and  we picked a great 2 weeks for sailing.

wish we had more time in Boston on the back to back cruise but we knew the itinerary before we booked.

It was very enjoyable time spent cruising

It was second cruise using HAL and compares with other cruise ships we have sailed with

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I think more juices needed to be available throughout the day for people who are not drinkers, or coffee junkies

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did not use many onboard activities as we toured ports on excursions

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I would liked to have had more cvountry music but that is only my preference

Children's Programs

N/A

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Lido staff, we adopted 4 young staff from Indonesia who were excellent, thanks Joanne, Sulay, Rapi, and Superman

Ship Quality

5 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We never need other than interior as we are there only to sleep and change clothes,if we need to see the scenery we go out on deck rather than look through the cabin view

Ship tip

This was the smallest ship we sailed with and we noticed the ease of getting around and the lineups for meals and shows were much nicer than the larger ships.

Ports of call

Montreal, Quebec

5 out of 5

Cruise St. Lawrence River

5 out of 5
I had hoped to see more Beluga whales but that is not ships fault that they were not there

Quebec City, Quebec

5 out of 5
Lots of WALKING and HILLS never seemed to go down streets always appeared to be going up hill

Cruise Gulf Of St. Lawrence

5 out of 5

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

5 out of 5
had a bad day of RAIN but scenery is gorgeous

Sydney, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
Loved the HUGE Fiddle when you disembark the SHIP great pic taking spot

Halifax, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
Great seaport and city to explore

Bar Harbor, Maine

3 out of 5
It is only place on this cruise we had to TENDER to get to shore but not ships fault that harbor is too shallow to dock

Boston, Massachusetts

5 out of 5
Cruising needs more than one day to enjoy this historic City, We should have sailed from Boston return instead of Montreal return but the city is rich in American History
