I have cruised before on NCL but my family wanted to try RC due to cost. I had a wonderful time with my family, and they fell in love with the cruise, they will be going back. Me well I wanted more but for the cost and size it was ok. Liberty of the Seas needs a refresher as it looked a little abandoned. Everyone that works on the cruise was amazing and happy and helpful. You have a great staff that deserve a nicer boat. Btw how many people are buying Effy jewelry, I get the tax-free thing but wished for more realistic prices and better onboard stores. You had a whole teen market and had nothing for them to buy. I purchase a perfume but wanted to spend more money. The casino was hard to be in with all the cigarette smell. So, I spent money on Starbucks and perfume. I'm sure many people that cruise RC have dogs/cats back home, would be nice to have merchandise for animals. This will be my first and last experience on RC.

Food and Dining

The main dining room service was great. Idham & Reizy were so kind and wonderful at their jobs. Reizy gave us puzzles every night to solve truly we loved it. The food itself was not that great but I didn’t expect it to be. Amazing variety but just a little bland and cold. The Sabor restaurant was a surprise for sure everything was delicious and was tasty.
Onboard Activities

The teens we traveled with loved it all but as an adult I wish we had more poolside entertainment. When the band played it was great. Other than that, it was quiet and boring. I'm not a heavy drinker so getting drunk and acting stupid is not my thing to do.
Entertainment

The ice-skating show was amazing, and the adult shows were fun to see.
Service and Staff

Starbucks staff were amazing, and they got every order correct. Our room steward was a joy every morning.
Ship Quality

This ship needs a serious redesign asap. Stained chairs, broken tiles, the door to the deck had stains. Boat looks like something out the 70’s. The smoking section should be in the adult area not the main pool area. Not enough people working the pool bars made it feel like I was in a club trying to get a drink. There were a handful of waiters walking around but not enough. Pool chairs are behind uncomfortable and placed so close together. The funny videos playing in the screen didn’t change just rotated so that sucked. There was no music at pool side other than when the band played which seemed like twice only. The carpets and colors are outdated. I always travel on NCL and someone from your design team needs to visit some of their cruise ships to get an idea of what a real nice cruise ship can look like. The plastic plants looked like someone from the 60’s left them behind. We are all visual people and visually this boat was not pleasing to the eyes at all.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our room was kept beautiful and clean by our room steward, Chatiny, (lost his card) he was great. The room itself wasn’t great. The bed and pillows were beyond uncomfortable, and the bathroom shelves were not useful at all too small and hidden. The room shelves were hidden and unusable. Open shelve concept works best. The deck has paint stains all over the floor and that huge round table takes up too much space as the glass table in the middle of the room was just in the way. The pink doors and columns please do away with. The boat felt old nothing wrong with old but it’s 2024 an update is needed.
It's definitely a ship.
The market on cruise ships is not to sell things like for dog or cat lovers. They sell what people will buy like coloring, candy, jewelry and other things. You can get fine jewelry on land. I would not buy it in the ship.
The Liberty is one of my fav ships with RC. I love it. You just not go outside often because there are literally dozens of activities to engage in. I have cruised both carnival & Royal and by far Royal is superior. There are different crowds on the two brands. Carnival is more of the “party” ships and Royal is more relaxing.
