Review summary

We had a blast. The ship was excellent. The service was excellent. My only complaint was chops prices on every other cruise that I’ve been on they had a lobster night offered included in the price.

The main dining room was beautiful. The food was fine. We ate at chops restaurant and it was highway robbery to charge an extra $20 for the lobster on top of what we paid already.

The DJ at Coco was unbelievable! We loved him! The two shows we saw were Not really, very good, but the comedians were excellent

I noticed several rooms that were larger for three people. We signed up months ago and we should’ve been able to get that bigger size.

Ship tip

If they give you a choice to pick your own cabin to pick your own because we wound up on To decks two and three do not go all the way through So you have to go to go from side of the ship to the other

Royal only does the Caribbean lobster tail included menu on cruises with 2 Dress Your Best Nights on the second one. Been on Royal for 30 years and even when they did a true Formal Nights, Chops nor any other specialty restaurant on boatd has never waived the cover fee because of what menu was offered in the MDR that night. Also you might want to know the MDR at fee upgrade is for a 1.25-2lb Maine lobster tail prepared individually, not the scrawny 1/3-3/4lb clawless warm water relative made enmasse banquet style.
