Review summary

I had only gone on this cruise for my sister's 60th birthday. Going on a cruise was not an option for a vacation, as I had felt that there were other better options. My first-time experience was Fun-tastic! I can foresee myself becoming a regular cruiser. Thank you so much Royal Carribean Liberty of the Seas Staff for a GREAT experience and changing my mind!

Food was delish. Service was impeccable. Staff was kind, friendly, courteous, and fun! Ship was clean everyday considering the messy people and crowd onboard. I appreciate the variety and selections for the buffet.

Thank you! My cabin was cleaned every day, with the added touch of a designed towel elephant!

Ship tip

Enjoy as much activities as possible. Plan ahead for another cruise. Coco Cay was more fun than the Bahamas!

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida Did not visit port

I'm from Florida, and I have visited Ft. Lauderdale many times in the past.

Nassau, Bahamas

I am not a fan of Nassau, Bahamas. I did not do an excursion. I was not impressed with the beach. It's beautiful, but no one is allowed to swim in the beach waters (next to Atlantis). Also, a local informed me that Atlantis does not own any beach property but will charge you for the beach amenity, and don't expect to swim in the beach behind their property because "no one" is allowed. It is much cheaper to take a cab to the beach if you want to sunbathe. FYA. You're constantly bombarded by the persistent locals selling something. Literally, every 3-5 minutes while lying in the sun or walking the streets. And I get it, it's their hustle and way to live. It was too much for me. Do not take a boat taxi, as it is more expensive. Local restaurant took way too long with serving our lunch and the food wasn't even thoroughly cooked.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

Enjoyed the jet skiing excursion. Don't expect much for snorkeling on your own. There was not much to see under the water; minimal fish, saw at least 5. Beach Cabana provided great service and lots of delicious food!

Disembarkation
