I had a terrific time. It was the total opposite of my cruise last year on Liberty. Not overly crowded this time; I never had to wait in line for anything. Staff was exceptional. Unfortunately, there was a bedbug issue.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food was good in the main dining room but not great. The service was exceptional. Didn’t do any speciality restaurants as I did them all on Liberty last year. The Windjammer was crowded and noisy so I avoided it.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The trivia was fun. I didn’t really do much else.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
In the Air was fabulous, the comedian not so much. I didn’t go to Saturday Night Fever as I saw it last year.
Children's Programs
No kids.
Service and Staff

All were fantastic. They work so very hard yet manage to be (or appear to be) happy all the time. My room steward, Aris, was always available and kept my cabin spotless. Although so very overworked, he still took the time to make me towel animals.
Ship Quality

Very clean everywhere. Cabin decor is outdated, but that had no effect on my enjoyment of the cruise.
Cabin / Stateroom

The bed was very comfortable with a nice firm mattress. The room steward kept it spotless. My problem was that the last night I slept in a different part of the bed (one of the perks of not sharing a cabin) and was itchy just above my knees. In my hurry to disembark, I didn’t notice anything but once home (just a short drive away), I noticed what appeared to be bites in that area. Comparing photos of bedbug bites and my knees, that’s what had happened. I had also read quite a few Shipmate reviews prior to my cruise and found a couple other mentions of bedbugs. I didn’t believe it then, but I do now. This issue must be addressed. My exterminator said it could be up to a month before I see any in my home. I sincerely hope that does not happen.
Ship tip
Sadly, my advice would be to check for bedbugs immediately upon entering your cabin & before unpacking.
i’m really surprised to hear about the bedbugs. I have my fingers crossed, since we have been on over 45 cruises and never experienced that, sorry it happened to you.
