Review summary
I know it goes without saying double check your room! Royal Caribbean makes little to no effort to get your belongings back to you. I realized I left my IPad in my room just as we left the ship. Understandably they wouldn’t let me back on the boat to retrieve it. I filed a lost item report with the 3rd party company they use Charger Back. The item was found on the boat, but couldn’t be shipped until the boat was at its home port in Florida. Again understandable, but this is where things got ridiculous. My item sat with a created shipping label for roughly 10 days. When the item was shipped, after 3 different calls to customer service, it was someone else’s IPad. It’s now going on 2 weeks, since I reported this to them, and they can’t seem to care less, that I have someone else possession and likely someone else has mine. The Customer Service Team will not allow you to speak directly to the Lost and Found department or any supervisor. This has left a very sour taste in my mouth for this company. Truly a shame that Royal Caribbean allows this type of corporate rigidity to sully what in the past as always been good customer service. You will likely enjoy your cruise, but once it’s done don’t expect any real help from this company.Embarkation
