Review summary

This was an amazing cruise. The ship was clean and the staff was amazing. The food came out hot and tasty, we ate at both the Windjammer and the dining room and also enjoyed the pizza. The casino was a little bit small and the stools were a little uncomfortable but we managed to come home mostly even! Our cabin was a Junior suite and had plenty of room for the two of us and a spacious balcony that we didn’t use very much. Our room steward kept the room clean, the ice bucket full and made sure we had plenty of towels. Our only complaint was that we could not stay longer. Next summer we will book a longer cruise!

This cabin was conveniently located, had plenty of space and was very quiet!

Ship tip

Get up early to get a lounge chair on Sea Days. For those without small kids, the Solarium is a nice place to hang out!

Ports of call

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

This was our third trip to Bermuda and we did St. George’s the first day which was great. Get Ferry tickets from the visitors center. On the second day, we went to Sea Glass beach, which was kind of disappointing and the Royal Naval Cemetery, which was interesting. In past years, we have visited the forts, the lighthouse and Hamilton. There is always something to do here, even if you are not necessarily beach people.

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

Embarkation and Debarkation was sooo easy at Cape Liberty. We drive to this port, so we parked at the port ($30/day) and walked right into the terminal. At Debarkation, we were out of the terminal by 7:45 and home by 9:15 am… amazing!
