Review summary

RCL while still has great people working has declined some with service. Seems they are under staffed. I had a soda package and since they no longer have a self serve machine, I had to get my drink from the bars. In the main theater one night had only one bartender. It shouldn't take 10 mins to get a drink. The ship is showing its age. Public bathrooms are small, not really clean.

Arrived and basically walked on the ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Food always good. Waiting foe drinks took way too long. Also no longer have self serve beverage machine.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Weather was not great. People operating trivia games mostly just going through the motions. Quest as usual the best as well as the love and marriage show.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
In air and Saturday night fever shows were outstanding. The guest comedian was great, the on board one awful.

Service and Staff

My husband and I will be going on Liberty of the Season August and everybody has their own opinion about the cruise obviously. Yes they do not have self-service soda machines. I was on Norwegian cruise in March I went to the bar and after the bartender Serve Somebody I gave him my sail and sign card. In fact, there was a bartender who was in one area of bartending and I saw him in another area and he recognized me. There are just so many people that want to be at the bar and getting their drinks

Seems the staff issue is felt all around. As my last cruise was under staffed. And not only that but the most they had had no training.
