Review summary

Had a great time even with the last minute change of what ports we were visiting (got the news as we boarded) which meant all our port excursions were cancelled and any new ones would have to be rebooked. Wasn’t waiting in line at the service desk for an hour or so because it was our 1st cruise, so when excursions for our new port were available on the app almost all the excursions were booked. Oh well, still had fun at Labadee Haiti and we were even able to have the pools almost all to ourselves when we came back on board a little after 1pm.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
No problems. We got there a little early but it wasn’t busy so we were allowed to check in early

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Dining room and specialty restaurants were good. Buffet was OK but nothing spectacular.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Lots of things to do and well organized in the app. Pool was almost always crowded so get there early.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Really enjoyed the Saturday Night Fever presentation and although a little corny the headliner was good as well.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Very attentive and respectful

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
You couldn’t go front to back on a couple of key decks where activities were held. Once you figured it out it wasn’t hard to get where you needed to go.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Bathroom is small but rest of room was bigger than I thought it’d be and balcony was very nice

Ship tip

Get to shows at least 15 minutes early as there’s no way to reserve seats on the app

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

4 out of 5

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas Did not visit port

Nassau, Bahamas Did not visit port

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
We were told to be at our designated meeting spot at 9am for a 9:10am departure. We were there by 8:30am and there was already a line that took almost an hour to get off the ship

Glad you had a good time. People are not supposed to reserve seats in the theater and it's a shame that a lot of people say it's reserved and it's not and just tell them I'm going to sit there. I've cruised a lot of times and people pull this all the time and also on the Lido Deck with the lounges are by the pool they put their towels down for the whole day they don't care so after a good while they get taken off by the pool attendant or at least it should be. I hope you cruise in the near future and enjoy it.

Welcome to the wonderful world of cruising. Sorry your first cruise had major port changes. Glad you enjoyed your cruise in spite of the hiccups.
