For our first cruise, we definitely learned a lot. We will have a much clearer expectation and plan the next time around
Embarkation
5 out of 5
The process is a little hectic for first timers but all-in-all it went well
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The main dining room was fair. My wife has dairy and gluten allergies which were noted before sailing. Options for her were limited to say the least and there was definite language barrier with our server. The meals that others in our party ordered we very small in portion and not well prepared. We opted then to pay extra and eat at Chops which was excellent. Our waiter, Noel was very accommodating and worked with us on the menu to find options that she could eat. The additional $60 +/- per person per meal was pricey but the food quality and atmosphere made up for it. The Windjammer breakfast/lunch area was good with plenty of variety.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The fitness center was very nice
Entertainment

The club/bar bands were great. We saw Saturday Night Fever which was ok
Children's Programs
no kids in our group
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Noel at Chops is the best waiter I have experienced. Our room steward Jerby was very helpful and attentive as well.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship was very clean
Cabin / Stateroom

poor water pressure in the shower but overall the room was about what we expected. Having a balcony room was a great upgrade.
Ship tip
If you have dietary needs, you might as well book dinner at the specialty restaurants.
The amount of wheeler/dealer people as you get off the ship is overwhelming. I realize that is their way to earn their living but we felt everywhere we turned that someone was trying to pressure us into buying something.
