Review summary

Would not cruise with Royal again, very disappointing. On an up note we didn’t overeat this trip, food was just not great. Buffet-Windjammer was a complete train wreck every time we ate there. Out of plates, silverware and navigating layout was terrible.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Was one of the best embarkation experiences we’ve had in our many cruises.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Food was subpar, buffet breakfast selection everyday was the exact thing, dining room food was served lukewarm and spicing wasn’t great. Worst food we’ve had on a cruise.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Ship was completely full and probable close too 1/3 children, couldn’t even sit at the pools, lines were long for other activities

Entertainment

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
As always cruise ship have the very best employees!

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Very, very dated, in need of refurbishment. As clean as an old ship can get. Sink in bathroom was a very slow drain.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Ocean balcony, good bed, generous size and as clean as an old ship can be.
