Review summary

First solo cruise. All went well. It's a little weird cruising alone when you are so used to having your sweetheart with you.

Smooth as silk.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Food has suffered after Covid. The only thing with flavor was the pizza.

Service and Staff

I only went to to main dinning room on the first and last night of the cruise. First night all went well. The last night i went the poor waiter/ server had to work at least 6 tables by himself. He had to clear and serve the plates by himself. Come on Royal you can do better than this.

Cabin / Stateroom

First solo cruise. I was given a handicap cabin. It was large and spacious but had the hospital smell to it. I mostly used the showers in the Solarium. It all worked out fine. Got a great deal anyway.

Ship tip

Don't let the little thing bother you.

I got off at 6:30. No problems other than, we arrived into terminal 19. The gangways were at a very steep angle. I cant imagine how the older folks got off safely. Let alone wheelchairs.
