The cruise was great and me and my family had a lot of fun during our Thanksgiving break. I would definitely sail again with Royal Caribbean.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
The embarkation process was extremely smooth. It took no more than 10 minutes for us to get checked in and on the boat.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Food was great! There was a lot of variety and the speciality restaurants provided alternative options if we got tired of the buffets. My only complaint was the drink packages that felt like a scam. My family was interested in the alcohol beverage package but the interest quickly eroded when we were told that it would be $130 per day per person. Our package would have totaled to over $900 for three people. We found that to be a bit extreme and opted to pay for drinks separately and I'm glad we did because we only ended up spending about half of what the package would have cost.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There was always something to do on the ship. We watched a dodgeball game, went swimming, relaxed in the whirlpools, went on the water slides, to an ice skating show, to a game show, to a broadway show and stopped by the arcade.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The ship had very good entertainment. There was a show almost every night and they did a good job of offering multiple times so that you didn't feel rushed to make a one-slot. The adult club was fun. They had a silent party one night and it was a lot of fun.
Children's Programs
There were no children with me.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone was so nice. We never had a bad experience with any of the staff on the ship. Anytime we had an issue there was someone there to help. Our waiter in the dinning room really made everyone feel special by memorizing our names and always being excited to see us.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ships layout was great and was always clean. There was always someone handing out hand sanitizer upon entering the buffet area. I never saw any areas that were unkept.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin was a great fit for three people. Two people were able to sleep in the bed comfortably and we had two pullman beds that our cabin attendant helped lower. The space did get a little tight when we all had to open our luggage but it was a nice size for four days.
Had a great time in Nassau and did a walking tour and visited a chocolate factory. The only complaint is that it was not made fully clear that we needed identification to get back onto the ship. While in CocoCay we only needed our ship card and we thought the same for Nassau but while trying to get back onto the ship we were asked for identification along with our ship card and we did not have it. Nassau security eventually let us through but it would have been nice if someone reminded/told us what we would need prior to getting off the ship.
