Review summary

I would recommend this cruise. Although the ship holds more than 3K people, other than the first day before we could get in our cabins, I never felt overcrowded during the cruise. I loved the Hoof and Claw pub and the staff there is phenominal.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Although there were a lot of people to check passengers in, we got stuck in a line that took 3 or 4 people to help the group in front of us, making our wait quite long.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Normally, I enjoy eating in the dining room most; however, the buffet had better options and the food was better. I did purchase the drink package and for the water alone, it was worth it (we did not have to pay $2 for every bottle).

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There was no shortage of things to do. I enjoyed the Trivia and shopping the most.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We attended the ice show, both comic shows and the stage show. All were top notch.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone is extremely nice, friendly and helpful throughout the ship.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean - especially the bathrooms and eating areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The size was just right for two people. The shower is a bit small though which is to be expected on a cruise ship.

Ship tip

This ship is very easy to navigate. There are digital/interactive maps on every deck making it even easier.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

4 out of 5
We parked in a parking lot that advertised free shuttle which they did not have, so we had to lug our luggage quite a way to get to the port. No excursion.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
We booked a private "Jeep" tour and were taken around the island in a small Chevy.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Very easy to navigate. We took the Pedro St. James Turtle excursion which was amazing.

Falmouth, Jamaica

4 out of 5
Beautiful port and island; however, the vendors were quite pushy in the area just outside of the port. I took the Chukka horseback ride and swim which I highly recommend.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It was a lot of hurry up and wait and long lines, but again, this is to be expected on a cruise.
