Ship: Liberty of the Seas

Traveled as: Large Group

Review summary

It was a fun cruise. I just think the ship needs to be amplified and is a little run down. But I recommend people to cruise on this ship

Embarkation

4 out of 5
It was an easy embarkation process and went very fast. It was probably one of the easiest embarkation processes I experienced.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food and drinks were great. I really enjoyed the food this trip especially in the windjammer. The only complaint I have is I wish there was more variety like the bigger ships have.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Even though Liberty is a small small ship, there is a lot to do. The pools were a ton of fun. The splash pad was probably one of the best ones a ship that I have seen. The ice skating rink is a lot of fun. So were the water slides. This is a good ship for people of all ages.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The ice show was really good. I think it's one of the best ones that I saw. I also enjoyed the movies that were being played. We were able to take a group of kids to see the movie and they loved it. Even at pool I saw some classes and and competitions so I liked that

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
I loved that Adventure Ocean did an excellent experiment with our group of kids. They were so patient with our special needs guests. They are always the best. Our kids loved the experience.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The sports team is always the best. All of the wait staff were amazing. We had special accomodations for our guests and they made it happen. They are always so accommodating to our group of people.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
The ship is old and starting to show it's age. I think an applification is needed and some remodeling. We could even see rust and the state rooms were run down.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The cabin was an interior cabin. It was small and ran down. There needs to be a serious remodel of the cabin. Also for 3 people it was really tight with not a lot of storage. We made it work.

Ship tip

The ship is small but fun. There isn't a lot of variety where you can go to different restaurants. But I think anyone will have fun in this ship.

Ports of call

Belize City, Belize

4 out of 5
It looks like a fun place. I liked all the the shopping at the port. I would love to walk outside of the port and try local food and drink. Maybe next time.

Cozumel, Mexico

3 out of 5
It's an easy port to navigate. There is a lot of variety of shops and restaurants near the port. I have to venture out and find somewhere good to eat and drink.

Galveston, Texas

4 out of 5
I would love to take the time to explore this port more. Just driving in it looked really cool. I have to spend some time enjoying the city.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It was an easy process. It could have been more organized and would have been a little easier on my group. But still it was very fast.
