Review summary

This was our first Holiday cruise and Liberty of the seas did not disappoint. We had all the Christmas music playing with beautiful decorations and Christmas trees. I really enjoyed swimming and on slides on Christmas Eve and Christmas. This change was needed. The staff cleans constantly and I felt at ease.

Embarkation

Quick and Easy if you have all of your documents ready to show

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate in Windjammers, Main Dining Room, Sabors, Johnny Rockets and did the Taste of Royal on Christmas in Giovanni’s. Everything was delicious.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We traveled with a teenager and enjoyed the pool, hot tub, slides and Tidal Wave. Fun fun

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We went to the Show “In the Air”. It was amazing and the staff and entertainers really put on a show. The pool side band Blaze kept the party going. DJ Conrad was good.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
The teens only had 1 meet and greet that was not very entertaining. My nephew did enjoy the second event for kids which was the silent disco. 2 events for teens in 7 days after the slides closed at 5pm daily was not enough. The arcade was okay. Due to social distancing every other games was disabled.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was amazing. They definitely catered to our every need and wants. My stateroom attendant Taufan saw my cpap machine and without me asking him brought me distilled water and an extension cord for it.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This was our 3rd time on Liberty. We love it. The ship needs some updates like more outlets by the bed and USB ports in the rooms. The ship was really clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We LOVED our Balcony. We were very comfortable and satisfied.

Ship tip

We felt safe because the staff makes sure you have on your mask walking around the ship. They have them in their pockets ready to provide you with them if needed. Have fun and try a little of everything that is offered daily. We played Bingo, shopped on the ship, enjoyed the shows and the casino.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

So much to do in Cozumel. We did not do an excursion this time. We shopped around for Christmas gifts and brought back duty free liquor.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

A lot of rich history here. We did the rum and chocolate tasting tour along with the Beach break at Coxen Hole. Our tour guide Ms A. was great.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Very unique place. Very clean. We did the glass bottom boat tour. Our tour guide made sure that he educated us on protecting the reefs and coral. We had more fun in the large pool with swim up bars.

Disembarkation

Quick and Easy. You watch channel 15 for your number that is on your luggage tag. When your number is called your go on down to deck 4 and out of the ship. No waiting in line.
