Review summary

From start to finish, this trip was everything I love about cruising. The ship, the crew, the people I met and friendships I made will stay with me forever! Liberty of the Seas will stay one of my favorite ships!

Embarkation

It was surprisingly nice and simple. Actually much better than everyone waiting in the terminal and trying to board all at once.

Food and Dining

The Windjammer was a bit of a let down, but it was alright. Sorrento's pizza after drinks at night was great! I cannot say enough about the MDR staff. Every night was like going to a specialty dining room. Service was impeccable.

Ship Quality

There is always someone cleaning. Igusti on the Lido Deck never stopped wiping up and cleaning tables. I never saw a table stay dirty. Everywhere I looked, cleaning was going on.

Cabin / Stateroom

Mochammed kept my room pristine all week! I never ran out of towels or hand sanitizer.

Ship tip

Understand this ship is not an Oasis Class. It is a mid size ship that packs a whole lot of fun. Get to know your bartenders and wait staff. Don't be afraid to talk to anyone. And remember, getting lost onboard helps you find the best views and coolest people!

My sons were good sports about the matching shirts! Last evening together. Karan and Ignacio made the dining a pleasure every night! My boys getting ready for the adult putt competition. They came in 2nd and 3rd! Pool Deck staff were AMAZING! Super clean all the time! This is an older ship, but she is still offers an amazing journey! I had a balcony room. I ended up traveling solo in it as my boys both doubled up in an inside cabin at the last minute. Score one for the mom! They had a tropical storm the day we went, but it was still gorgeous! The port had everything imaginable. Shops, a great pool, dolphin excursion, and great people! Can never go wrong with a beer on the beach in Mexico! The people were so glad the ships were returning. Found this award when I got lost onboard!

Glad you had a phenomenal cruise. I agree, getting lost on the ship is part of the adventure. Liberty holds a special place in my heart since it was the ship I experienced my first cruise on.
