Cruise overall was fun. The ship is a little dated but decent considering the year it was built.

Good overall. I understand the normal route wasn't an option and entering in on level 1 just didn't have the excitement as entering in on level 4.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Food is not what it used to be on Royal Caribbean. It's on par with Carnival, not bad, just not above and beyond like it used to be (I've been on 8 cruises in 10 years with RC and Carnival, multiple ships). For this reason, we'd prefer to spend less to get the same quality and sail with Carnival.
Onboard Activities

The gym was fantastic! Great shows and some fun activities. We could never figure out where to redeem tickets at the arcade, so that was disappointing. The basketball court needs to be refreshed, as does most of the ship.

This really lacked compared to Carnival. No characters and most events were late at night. The highlight was cupcake decorating. He is really a great instructor and engaging, we've done it twice now and recommend it to all.

It just seemed dirty. Not against the room attendant but the couch and floor just felt sticky, like it needed a deep cleaning. The remote channel down button didn't work, the wood rail on balcony was peeling, and we only received one towel animal.
The numbering system to tender was a complete joke. You got a ticket after waiting an hour in line and they ended up calling all numbers at once because nobody was ready. Then every rushed. It was a mess, just get people off as they wish and forget the numbering system.
I not going to let the little insignificant things ruin a cruise. Seems like you spent more time complaining than enjoying.......only one towel animal.....really. I wouldn't even waste the time putting that in a review of the ship.
