Review summary

Great cruise, lots to do, find out from SOMEONE, what the ship's DAILY itinerary is and the dress for the evening BEFORE you leave so that you can pack properly. This was my first cruise and we felt ill prepared.

Embarkation

Except for the long long line to board, it was great!

Food and Dining

Our waiters were fantastic! The food amazing and the ship personnel were fun and very animated. Great with adults and children.

Onboard Activities

I was on a sewing cruise, but my other half enjoyed the hot tub and the flow-rider

Entertainment

Did not get the time to attend any of the ships shows to my dismay.

Cabin / Stateroom

our cabin is not listed. We had a balcony 7384. It was wonderful.

Ship tip

Being our first cruise, no one told us about the different nights of dress and we were not prepared for much of the fun during the evening. Also, be prepared to wait for the elevator. It is a long wait.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas Did not visit port

The was our boarding port.

Due to a error on our class day, we were unable to take advantage of the port. We were off long enough to grab a bite of food and back on the ship again. Next time we are going to have more fun. I enjoyed the beautiful waters.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Now that you’ve got a cruise under your belt you’ll be better prepared next time...live and learn. With Royal Caribbean the dress code in the main dining room is business casual most nights. Typically on cruises less than 7 days there’s one formal night. On cruises of 7 days or more expect 2 formal nights.
