Booked the screws as a Texas Realtor education cruise. All three @C days we had conferences and received eight hours of continuing education towards our real estate license. We go every year on this or different ships out of Galveston. Love that this trip is actually a tax deduction for me since I cruise 2 to 5 times a year.

Besides green colored garlic butter on my escargot the first night, was great. Always love Sorrento’s pizza and olives. Crazy G (Gaston) the bartender at the Schooner Bar was awesome as usual. I look for him each time I’m on the Liberty. He used to be at the Pool Bar. He’ll take good care of you. Tell him Jeff says hello!

Hung out at this place rather than the pool deck this go around. Be sure to see Crazy G (Gaston) and Morris - the bartenders. Every night they have some kind of trivia in the bar.

Was use new sailing solo, as my friend couldn’t make it
Ship tip
To get access to helipad, go to deck 5 (Star Lounge). There is a door to the exterior on the starboard side. That will take you up to helipad for sail away or any time you’d like to go there
Love Paradise Beach at Cozumel. Just take a taxi. Ask for Mingo, as he’s ask awesome waiter I get every time I go there. See him 2-5 times a year. Tell him Jeff says hello! The street tacos are awesome. Be sure to get the variety one that is fish, shrimp, beef, and chicken.
Sad we don’t spend more time in port here. So much to see and do. Tender was fun with the huge swells and seas. But they did great. Stayed at 7 Mile Beach at Calico Jacks. Highly recommend Sting Ray City from past visits though.
Stayed in the port this time just to walk, shop, and eat. Had jerk food and Red Stripe beer at a local restaurant. Didn’t want to do Margaritaville. Try the fresh sugarcane, was good but share! Wood carving was awesome. They put a lot of heart and work into it. Next time want to do an all inclusive resort for a day (Hilton Rose Hill) or (Docs Beach-a friend went there). Check the port map to see how many cruise ships will be in Jamaica the day you arrive. If only one or maybe two, I would recommend booking Dunns River Falls
Very smooth with Self Assist walk off. Stayed on deck seven but went up to deck nine to help my mother and niece with their luggage. Took the elevator down to deck for in the platinum theater. Lined our luggage up against the wall sat down for about 25 minutes. We started walking about 7:35 and was through customs in outside And on shuttle by 7:45. Customs just looked at our passport and waved us through. Did not even scan it or ask any questions. First time I’ve ever had that happen. Mother got held up scanning her C pass card leaving the ship because of some jewelry purchases she made on board. They were sending someone up to escort her down but after a couple minutes no one showed up in the Royal representative said just to go ahead and go. As I told others waiting in the platinum theater I’ve never been off the ship any later than 7:45 and I cruise 2 to 5 times a year
