Loved the cruise and the ship. The ports were the reason we chose this particular cruise and it was perfect!

Food and Dining

Ate in buffet for lunch, one of the 3 main dining rooms (Rembrandt) for anytime dining for Breakfast and Dinner. Had fabulous wait staff. They remembered everything we liked. Enjoyed breakfast in the dining room. Can get anything you want without the crush in the Windjammer. I am not a buffet fan except for salad bar.
Onboard Activities

Had a blast on rock climbing wall. Seemed like afternoon sessions had more adults. The early sessions had a lot of children. We both love to climb and enjoyed it. Water slides seemed like they'd be great, but they are very slow moving. Not as fun as I had hoped. The adult only pool area (Solarium) was our favorite place to hang out. On port afternoon the spa was peaceful. Pool was heated. Fitness center was great for us. Had all we needed to get in 3 workouts on our vacation. Enjoyed mini golf as well.
Entertainment

GREAT! There was only one show we did not really like, but it is personal music preference. The Saturday Night Fever show (1.5 hrs) was very entertaining. All the other shows were 45 mins and very very good. Comedians were hilarious and not gross even at the adult only show.

Layout-one of the best we have been on--our first time on Royal so it is our only guide to that line. Would travel with them again. The 2 large elevator banks worked well for us. May be hard for physically challenged guests. We used stairs 90% of the time.
Cabin / Stateroom

Loved the layout! Balcony was roomy. Bed was comfy.
LOVED it! Did the zipline at Gumbalina Park. Fun with monkeys and birds and iguanas. Got POURED on, but it was warm, so not too bad. Next time we snorkel.
Rushed out to bus to the ruins. LONG bus ride with a hard to understand guide. The ruins were great, but we were rushed as the ship docked late and we were behind schedule. I was glad that we had booked through the ship. Every one was very nice and we were the last 4 to get back on board. Would like to visit again and stay closer to the port.
After prior day, we chose to skip our excursion--the ship gave us a refund thankfully. We got off and walked the port and then hired a taxi to see the ruins here on Cozumel. Very nice, relaxed, LOTS of mosquitos--even with spray we were bitten up pretty badly. Would like to try snorkeling here next visit.
Perfect. Could not have been smoother. We requested a late debark time as our flight was later. They gave us tags. Baggage was there and we were able to get on our bus to airport efficiently with little effort. We used Galveston Limousine and it was quite reasonable.
