Review summary

I wanted to buy a non-alcoholic drink package but was told no as my roommate was buying the alcohol one. I have 41 years sobriety and told the bartendar. He said I needed a letter from my doctor. He then said he would call his manager and eventually I was allowed to buy what I wanted. For someone with less sobriety this could have been devastating. PLEASE handle this differently maybe by letting people know ahead of time.

Dining room was good on service when we were there, however, the person who made our reservations messed up and the waiters really gave it to us for not being there when they thought we should be.

Our porter told us about the drug bust and three ambulances so it was slower than expected but nothing we could't handle.

I follow youtuber cruisetipstv who recently sailed on Symphony. She was able to get her husband on the non alcohol drink package and an alcohol drink package for herself. I also saw somewhere the bartender can sell a 10 punch drink card. I'm still looking into that. As I have been reading tips for months this only saw that once.

They changed the drink package rules about 2 years ago. Too many people abused it and shared drinks. If one person buys the ulta drink package then the other must buy the refreshment package.

Great, I'm a Pinnacle member,was greattreated wonderful.

Overall had a great time and enjoyed the cruise. It was somewhat marred by what I found to be indifferent service and a bad cabin choice.
