A very relaxing week. I think there are plenty of things to keep the kids busy as well. We are going again next year.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
It was easy boarding, lines moved quickly and efficiently
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We opted for the upgraded dining. The cost was well worth the experience. MUCH better service, meals are at a slower pace and they never hurry you to finish. It is not crowded and the food is better quality.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The activities are what you find on any cruise ship. I realize it might be expensive, but I wish LOS would be done with "Saturday Night Fever" - it is such a dated movie and no one really wants to see it again & again. Their Disco Night was a giant failure - it was "live" 70's music - which really can't be recreated. A DJ would have been better. Trivia was always good and the other entertainers were good.

See above.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Excellent waiters, room stewards. Here is my recommendation: Giovanni's - Mayah. Chops Grille - Ishy. Sabors - Karim. They are simply the best around.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship is older, but it clean and kept clean thru-out the cruise.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
All good. Everything worked, AC was working and kept us cool.
Ship tip
The casion is VERY smoky and I spoke to no one who won at anything. Not worth the hassle of smelling like smoke. Wouldn't bother with the "suite" presentation. They give you alot of information in a quick amount of time - you can find it all on line or with your travel agent.
We did a resort-for-the-day (El Cid La Ceiba Beach). If it's just adults, it's fine. There were plenty of chairs by the beach, the food was nothing special, the drinks were good. We found it to be a very relaxing day and the employees there were helpful. It's about a 5 minute walk from where the ship docks.
We did not get to scuba dive like we had hoped, but still had a good time shopping in George Town. If you like coffee - the Cayman Coffee Club is a must go! It's very near to where the ship's tender. Excellent.
