I wish Royal Caribbean would not do as much nickle and diming. Bring back free room service (on some things at least). Have better spa packages where people can spend more time getting pampered. I bought one and it was a great experience. The only issue was trying to be sold every product under the sun.
Embarkation

I would have given this a higher rating, but when we arrived and took our photos for our cards the computer system ended up crashing & everyone waiting had to re-take all of their pics again—which slowed down the process. Also, we waited in the line to get in sitting in a taxi for about half an hour.

Food and Dining

The food was flowing, which is always a great thing about Royal Caribbean. The service could have been a tad better. Drinks were slow to be refilled and a couple of orders were wrong a few nights. That being said, you could tell the dining room crew was trying—they were just overwhelmed.

I wished the dining room tables in the Wind Jammer has been cleaned just a little better. I get it, we’re on a cruise 🚢 and there are a ton of people coming and going.

Ship tip
Make sure you plan accordingly and budget for all of the other extra costing activities on board the ship that you might be interested in
The water was beautiful in Roatan. My issue with this port of call is how much money they charge at certain beaches, restaurants. The private beach we went to was $20 to get in and the food very pricey. The beach was very overcrowded and there were almost as many beach goers as people trying to sell you stuff.
This is normally my fave spot to visit, unfortunately the shops at the Royal Caribbean Port did not live up to expectations. My sister was overcharged (intentionally) by one of the men at the small jewelry stands near a restaurant. They brought the receipt out and the agreed upon price was $210 USD... the receipt was only in pesos, but the guy (who spoke perfect English) told her it would only be charged $210.00. Her charge card was charged $500.
I agree on the nickle and diming. They had the room service charge but the continental breakfast was still free so it wasn't really all that bad if you wanted coffee and a bagel in your cabin before you got out and about.
