Review summary

We will definately be doing the Liberty of the Seas out of Galveston again and again.

Embarkation

We cruise a lot and despite living in Texas this is our first time to sail out of Galveston. This is the easiest and best port to sail out of, it is easy to get to, there is nearby parking/shuttle services, and the views of Galveston are amazing from the ship.

We have sailed mostly on RC's Oasis class but found the Liberty of the Seas to offer an even better overall experience.

Onboard Activities

As on most cruise ships there is something for everyone and more activities than time in the day allows for. We had so much fun trying things we had never done on board before. Let yourself go and enjoy yourself.

What an amazing assortment of entertainment options. We saw every show possible I think and were so impressed.

Service and Staff

The staff on the Liberty by far is the best we have ever experienced overall. They are so friendly and outgoing, they goal is to make your cruise the best possible and they did.

Ship Quality

Much prefer this ships design and layout over the Oasis class....they are almost to big to get around easily or quickly. The speciality restuarants are much better on the Liberty than the Oasis class also.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

After you board grab a drink and get something to eat. After you finish your meal get another drink and start exploring the ship. Don't miss the tucked away front of the ship with putt putt golf and the water slides/flow rider in the back of the ship.
