Review summary

This was my sixth cruise, first time on Royal. I would rate it average. Not the best but not the worst. Food was average and service was hit or miss. Chops Grille was excellent and the service was impeccable.

The computer went down so they could not take pictures at checkin it took 3.5hrs. It was terrible.

What other cruiselines have you been on? I’ve only cruised Carnival so far - no problems - but thinking of branching out and checking out the competition. Would like to know the differences.

PatJoe - Things like food and service not only vary by ship within cruise line, but within ship by sailing. I liked this ship across categories, but each person has to judge for him/her self, and remember that others may have a different personal experience.

Pat Joe I think you are correct. Can't Judge any cruise line by one cruise. Each ship is different. I took two trips on navigator of the seas and fell in love with cruising Both were amazing Then took a cruise on Liberty of the seas. Food was average entertainment was lacking. People were rude. But I still say navigator was amazing. I'm going on the first Carnival cruise in 10 days on. The dream. And I won't judge the entire cruise line based o. The upcoming trip but understand it's hard not to.
