Review summary

Disappointing culture of service, underwhelming food. Ports good. Stateroom attendant barely around, even with a cash pre-cruise gratuity. Some bartenders good, some meh. No pool waiters. SplashAway Bay great for not-yet-swimming kids. Chops Grille service poor. Chef’s Table fantastic. What happened to dressing for dinner? Ship did not enforce dress code at all, so shorts, t-shirts, etc. all acceptable in dining room, and Hawaiian shirts and polo shirts were ‘formal attire’. Very disappointing by pax but also cruise staff.

I’m ok with certain “standards”, but I also appreciate that “enforce” and “vacation” aren’t words I want used together when spending my leisure dollar. Everyone is different, and things always change. I do agree about servers in the pool area. I’d like to have service at the hot tub...it just makes it better! Here’s to the next time! Hope it’s better for you :)

Dress code in dining room is only a suggestion. And, yes, it is not enforced. As the dining room Matre'd once told me when I asked why about a dozen men were wearing ballcaps on "formal night", he just shrugged his shoulders and said "they are paying customers".
