plan ahead because by the time we figured things out it was time to go home. I thought we had a good understanding but I was wrong. Do not take alchohol with you because it will get confiscated and not returned till the last night of the cruise around 11:45 pm. then you have to declare it and pay taxes

The food quality was below expectation, had to return some main course meals because they had old after-taste. the other options were a bit pricey for the food. Previous cruise experiences with different cruise lines had better food
Onboard Activities

the slide was closed most of the time. the pools were over crowded and too small. the ice skating rink was not open very long. you need to plan in advance to get your monies worth. The poolside tv screen had burned out pixles so the movies were not watched because of the distraction, and they played sports games which no one in my party were interested in.

the comic was not that funny, he seemed like he didn't want to be there himself. the Staying Alive Saturday Night Fever show was way too sensual. not PG-13. we were not happy about it so we left after 20 minutes. The dreamworks parade was the only entertainment that was worth attending.

the staff were okay, some did not speak english or they mumbled so conversatons were limited.

it was clean, but way too crowded.

the bed was not comfortable, my wife slept ok but I woke up several times thru the night and re-adjusted. shower had mold growing at the seams. I cleaned it myself.
we had fun, paid to go on beach excursion, found out later that we could of went to a free beach to snorkel. so afterwards I felt like for the value we should of took taxi or rented car .
The tendering to get off ship was not explained very well. We got our number way late so we did not leave the boat till after noon which cut into our time on island. We took taxi to beach went snorkling saved $$$
stayed inside the gated area. seemed too dangerous to venture outside, most of the shops had souvineers made in China. was not expecting that, i couls of got them online cheaper.
we took our own bags to speed things up, after 6 days we were ready to get home. the lines werelong. we got up extra early so we could get off before 10:30.
Advanced planning is key to enjoying a cruise vacation. The cruise lines are very clear about alcohol being brought on board. You are allowed 2 bottles of wine 750ml. Sorry there was confusion.
