Review summary

I recommend royal Caribbean to all my friends when I'm talking to them. I've never been this impressed by the other cruiselines.

Embarkation

This was the 4th cruise I have been on but my first time on Royal Caribbean and it's by far the best experience I have had. We used the Port of Galveston Indoor Parking and they were phenomenal.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Rembrandt Dining room was beautiful, we had the My time dining which I recommend that way you can have flexibility to your dinner. We went to the Windjammer mostly for breakfast and lunch this was a buffet and I really think they should have someone there to get your table and then you go get your food because it's really hard to find a place to sit. We went to Giovannis Grill once because this is a specialty dining room so we ended here with the Mystery Dinner which if this is something you enjoy I recommend you do this.

Onboard Activities

I enjoyed the Hot tub and the Steam room a lot.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room attendant was Yogi he was friendly and helpful and Amit and Yi were amazing in the Rembrandt Dining room We spent a lot of our time at the Hoof and Claw and Roger and Grover were funny which made this a favorite hangout for us. We liked the Schooner but it was so close to the Casino there was too much cigarette smoke for my taste but the music was good and the wait staff and were nice if you didn't mind that. My sisters are handicapped and one of them was having a hard time getting up from the chair at the pool area and two people came to help her. I don't have their names but when we had similar experience on Carnival no one was there to help. The customer service we received through out from everyone was first class.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was very clean and well maintained, they were painting around the pools when we were in port so they were nice looking.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was a handicap cabin. Very roomy and clean. There were 3 of us in the room so we had them remove the armchair so we could walk around. The shower area made it easy to use since it wasn't a tub to step into.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas Did not visit port

Can visit Galveston anytime. I live 45 minutes away

Cozumel, Mexico

We didn't do anything in Cozemel. We stayed in the port at Margueritaville. It was nice but very pricey.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Grand Cayman was beautiful part of our party went snorkeling and the rest did the Glass bottom boat excursion and rum cake outlet. Really enjoyed our time there.

Falmouth, Jamaica

Disembarkation

Because my sister is handicapped we went to the area where they have wheelchairs and we were pushed through very quickly. Everything from day one was amazing for us and we can't wait to go again
