Review summary

I wish I did not have to sleep on the floor but I guess Royal Carribean is okay with having their guests sleep on the floor. There would have not been room enough for a pull away bed.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had 3 grown adults, one being 70 years old. We were told the room could accommodate all of us because it had a murphey bed or sofabed. I was shocked that the 3rd bed fell from the ceiling and we needed a ladder to climb up. The ladder hurt climbing with barefeet. The sleeping arrangements were best for guests with kids. We instead took the mattress and laid it on the floor where I would sleep. I tried to ask for an upgrade but was brushed off twice! I find it poor customer service.

Ship tip

Know before you go! These rooms are not for adults.

I've had this ap for a few years and this is a first. Classic, the person did not to research. Don't blame the ship for that, come on!

Sorry but you need to research the cruise ship and the accommodations ahead of time. If you needed 3 single beds or a queen and a pull out you should have confirmed with Royal Caribbean ahead of time. I don't know why they should be inclined to give an automatic upgrade. I had a great experience and found the customer service to be excellent when I was on this ship. I did not go into my cruise believing I was entitled to any upgrades. The people on the ship work hard and have to put up with a lot of people who just complain. I take the opposite approach and look at how blessed I am to be in vacation and enjoying new experiences, people, and great weather.

First time reading about having to sleep on the floor/deck.

I think he's saying the room had a Pullman bed that dropped down from the ceiling and it was uncomfortable to climb the ladder so he put the mattress on the floor. At least that's what I'm getting out of it.

Something seems wrong here. They don't make people sleep on the floor. Haha.
