Review summary

You can get sooooo much more from an all inclusive!! Too many extra charges. Too many inconveniences. Seems inexpensive at the front end but once you add on the back end charges it’s way more that an all inclusive.

Way too small. The only way to get in the bed was from the foot of the bed.

Ship tip

It’s very hard to find things to drink if you haven’t bought some type of drink package.

bat, I disagree. I pay a price for the cruise and don't spend a dime more on the ship and I have a family of 4. If I spend money, it's because I want to. It's all opinion, but I'd much rather cruise than go to an all inclusive resort.

You have to research the cruise ahead of time. It can be as inclusive as you want it to be. You don't have to purchase extras unless you choose to do so. Buy the alcohol package, eat in the main dining room or windjammer, and stay on the ship everyday and you have yourself an all inclusive. I prefer to go on the different islands, which will cost more but that's why you cruise, for that experience.

Bella92108. Why are you so indignant? I’m not sure how I’m comparing apples to rooftop nails. I was just at an all inclusive in June. I’m not looking for your sympathy. I’m just sharing my opinion of cruising.

Huh? You’re comparing apples to roof nails. All inclusive resorts are a destination. Sure dining is included but almost all major all inclusive resorts now have upcharges for lobster and other premium stuff. It’s not like the old days. They’re going the same way as cruising. You can do all inclusive on cruises. Buy the unlimited specialty dining, drinks, and internet package. Sounds like you want to pay for ground beef but have a filet mignon. You’d rather be forced to buy things you may not want? There’s a reason almost every travel industry segment is going ala carte. Do you bitch about airlines not forcing you to pay for a meal you don’t want? And when you go to an all inclusive resort for a week, how many times do you go to sleep and wake up in another country? Sounds like you’re just cheap and bitching because you want something for nothing. Not going to get much sympathy here.

Not at all. All inclusive resorts are what I was talking about. And yes they are all inclusive. All specialty restaurants have no up charge. Drinks from bar are included and bottled water and bottles of pop are included as well as internet and phone service. There is a way to coordinate with members of your group. No way to do that on a cruise. bella92108

Huh? What travel or cruises are all inclusive? An all inclusive resort? Oh please. They try to sell you everything. All inclusive cruise like NCL? NO such thing. The price is higher for the total cruise depending on how much “all inclusive” you want. You must make for a miserable travel companion hehe.

At least you tried cruising. You get points for trying. Good luck on your next endeavor.
