Review summary

Very good experience for all! We loved the ship and all crew on board. Will do this cruise again with different ports. Planning next years cruise now!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and easy. Arrived in Galveston around 9:30 and were on board eating lunch at the windjammer by 11:15.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was excellent in all dinning areas of the ship. Buffets had good selection each morning and afternoon. Main dining room selection was very good.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Didn't do too many activities but mini golf. Looked like everyone was having a good time in the pool areas.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We really enjoyed the shows. Up in the air, ice skating, comedians and Saturday Night Fever were all very good!

Children's Programs

On board with a teenager who did everything we did.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Outer waiter and assistant waiter were excellent especially our assistant waiter who we also saw in the windjammer every morning. Cabin steward did an outstanding job making our room very enjoyable. Our daughter loved the different towel animals each evening.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything about the ship was excellent. Only drawback was one elevator bank was not working all week!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very comfortable for an inside cabin. Beds were very comfortable. Clean room.

Ship tip

Get there early for breakfast and shows as both tend to get crowded early.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

5 out of 5
For my family, it was close to home, less than 1.5 hours drive.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Port was nice and clean and good selection of shops.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
We didn't spend much time in the port as our excursion went long and we wanted to get back on ship for our early dinner seating.

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Enjoyed rpthis port the most. No excursion taken. We just shopped.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Disembarkation was self assist. We had 15 people in our group. This area needs a little work. Too unorganized in the holding area (main dining room). People coming in late were just cutting the line ahead of people who have been waiting for a while. The long and I mean long walk with luggage was too long and hot!

With this experience, part of your planning should be cabin type AND location on the ship. A year ahead you might find good incentives for early booking. Good luck.
