Not prepaid before going ?

We take a cruise with my family, but we book cruise later, so we didn't know clearly about option prepaid ..Give tip on cruise is automatic, We understand.

Every thing is good, but we didn't understand that we have problem with mosquito bite in the room. The last day, when we complaint this problem, the man take care our room sprayed mosquito our room.
