Review summary

I just got back from my cruise on Liberty of the Seas and had a great time. The ship was great and had a lot to do on board. Our balcony room was clean and our stateroom attendant was great. He was outgoing and friendly and did an awesome job keeping the room clean. Our dining room servers were excellent as well, always asking if we needed anything and if we liked our dishes. I enjoyed the stops in Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. We had great weather and made the most of our time while on the ship and while on vacation. I would go on Liberty of the Seas again. I didn't mind Galveston, but would have preferred more destinations within easier walking distance to visit and explore. Overall though a great time and a great cruise.

Our room was always clean and I really enjoy having a balcony room for the view and fresh air. Our stateroom attendant was excellent. He was hard working and very friendly. I was impressed with the set up of our cabin.

Ship tip

On Liberty of the Seas I would recommend taking advantage of all there is to do on the ship. There are so many activities and I would especially recommend the wine tasting at Vintages, it was informative and entertaining. The presenters were great and we enjoyed our time spent in that establishment.

Flew into Hobby in Houston. on the way home I flew out of Bush and my girlfriend flew out of Hobby. Hobby is smaller and a little easier to navigate through. you will want to make sure to get a shuttle or hire a personal car to take you from the airport to Galveston and vice versa once you get off the ship. We hired a personal car service and it worked out well. you will most likely find a hotel along Seaway Boulevard if you come down the day before which is what we did. I hope that this was helpful and let me know if you have any other questions. it was my first time out of Galveston. Not bad, but did not have the easy walking distance locations to explore or grab something to eat.
