Review summary

This cruise had 4,300 passengers and over 1,000 workers. If you like cruising and crowds, this is for you. We were very happy to finally find the adult-only pool. The Windjammer food was plentiful and quite good. I used the asian rice bowls in the morning for my oatmeal which was excellent.

Boarding the ship, plan to be early to beat the crowds.  We stood in line after line for 3 1/2 hours when RCC had computer snafus. No water, no food. People who got on early had no issues.

Ship Quality

This ship had it's 10 birthday during our cruise. It does not look 10 years old. The ride was very smooth. Very little rocking.

Cabin / Stateroom

Comfortable space comfortable beds. Krismas provided excellent service. Negative: You had to be a strong HE-Man to be able to open the slider!!!

Ship tip

The adult sports activities were on top and way at the rear of the ship. Too strenuous for me, but in my day I would have had fun there. They made excellent Mojitos at the adult pool ($12). In the Promenade , the Martini Bar made really amazing Chocolate Martinis ($14). Pricey.

Ports of call

Did not get to see much because of the baggage problem and bad weather.

Very impoverished but lovely sweet people. Water is beautiful.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Missed our excursion because it was so far to walk to meet the tour in the hot sun. Do not use Shore Excursions. Even with the Protection Plan they would not refund.

Cozumel, Mexico

Missed excursion because of misinformation about Local Time. Opted for another excursion to go snorkeling. Beautiful water.

Libertyof the Seas does not room 4,300. This ship passenger capacity is 3,634 and 1,360 crew members

I found Libert ots more crowded than i would have preferred. Enchantment ots was much better on the other hand. Their top deck was expansive.

I was on the oasis last feb was told there were 6500 and about 2000 crew and boy it was crowded all the time no seats at the tables on the decks ever I will stick with the freedom class for my mega ship and the enchantment for my intimate size

The oasis class ships out of ft Lauderdale were great. The processes on and off the ship was less than 30 minutes.

Galveston port is always slow. I have been on smaller ships out of Galveston and it takes forever to get on and off the ship.

dede, I want to try an oasis class, I've been on the ncl mega ships and they are pretty crowded...I keep hearing RC mega ships are much better (i sailed on the second ncl mega ship by mistake.)

the crowds aren't bad, ever. I cruised Oasis and it still wasn't bad.

5300 people? See that's why I'm hesitant to cruise a mega ship
