Review summary

Two sisters (50-ish) and Mom (late 70s) on our first cruise.  Had a blast.  Did as little as we wanted on some days, as much as we could handle on other days.

The ship is very nice.  Plenty of various activities.  Plenty of food choices.

Every member of staff that we had contact with was beyond friendly and helpful.

Looking forward to our next cruise.

Prefered the calmer enviroment of the dining room over the Windjammer.

Service and Staff

Claudia in the Bolero Lounge, Oliver Gutierrez and Vita in the Botticelli dining room, and Nadine our room attendant were AMAZING! So friendly and took excellent care of us every day.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room was great, glad to have the balcony. Nadine suggested and got us a rollaway bed so we wouldn't have to use the pull down bed and climb the ladder. Felt there was adequate storage for 3 for the week. Sofa was nice and firm, easy for elders to get up from.

Ship tip

Maybe... leave some free time in your plans. Yes, you have limited vacation time and you want to make the most of it, but it's a nice ship with lots going on. Put your electronic device down and strike up a conversation. Take some time to relax, enjoy the ship and just "be.

We rented a car, wrapped our 3 brains around driving on the opposite side of the road and took off for the east side of the island to avoid the masses heading for the west side.

Falmouth, Jamaica

We planned ahead with Jamrock Journies and had a fabulous private tour from Falmouth, to the river and over to Montego Bay. I wanted to see the local Jamaica, not the brochure one.
