Review summary

The embarkation and disembarkation was a nightmare. The entire first day was a bust! We spent 3 hours her to get on the ship them the rooms were not ready and no luggage for a couple more hours. We couldn't find food that was included anywhere and no help. The second day was much better. It was hard to get the information needed everyday to make plans for everyone and to be able to enjoy fully. If this was my 1st cruise I would not want to go on anther. The kids were allowed to charge on their cards with no limits! We did not receive all our credits either. Be aware!!!!

the first day after travel can be stressful. you have to look past your bad mood and have a good time. of course your luggage isn't waiting for you, and your rooms not ready. people did just leave the ship that morning, you do want it cleaned don't you. we always go to the windjammer and find some other things to do while waiting. we have enjoyed liberty and navigator. going back on liberty in may.

Found it easy to live on free pizza and ice cream. On our cruise, we found our experience was exactly opposite of yours: got all the assistance we needed (and then some) without all that friendly smiling. TIP for YOU graymom: Cruise out of Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa or New Orleans and forget Galveston. Check out my videos shot aboard Liberty of the Seas and see if your experience was like ours.

You have to select a time to arrive on embarkation day which is an expected hour wait, unless you came unprepared and held it up yourself. The itinerary is set in your cabin the night before your arrive at the scheduled ports, how was it difficult to get the information needed to make plans? it has everything you need...seems like a troll posting.

The windjammer is open for breakfast and is open when you get on.

You said this is not your first cruise so you should know how everything goes. Rooms are never ready until around 2pm, luggage can be as late as 10pm before you get it, you can put restrictions on any person's sea pass in your booking group, the cruise compass tells you most everything you need to know and if not guest services will help you. Windjammer opens at 11am for food
