Review summary

The New Years Eve celebration was great and we had perfect seats to observe.

The checkin process needs a lot of help when there are fog delays. Royal Caribbean needs to work with Port of Galveston officials to come up with a plan to keep some organization on cruisers trying to get into the port building. Too much chaos and not knowing where the line starts or ends. Possibly use the port police to manage instead of standing around talking or smoking a cigarette.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Sabor was a real surprise. We visited during the lunch hour and was pleasantly surprised. Don't waste your time on Johnny Rockets. The 6.99 cover charge is not worth it.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

Different mix of shows and the schedule works with the different dining times.

We always wipe the room down with wipes before unpacking and it is amazing how dirty the wipes get. This is just not Royal Caribbean. We have found this on NCL and Princess as well

Cabin / Stateroom

Great view of the Promenade area. We were not bothered with the noise from the area, very well sound proofed.

Next time, fly to Fort Lauderdale and skip Texas altogether. Horrible place!
