Review summary
Really enjoyed this cruise. There is so much to see and do that it is hard to get bored. You can relax if you want or join in activities if you want. There are cupcake decorating classes in the main promenade and wine tastings as well. Lots of sport activities and a big gym with all the equipment of a professional gym. I didn't try the spa but spoke to someone who dud and she liked the treatment she had.
The food was just ok, nothing special but the service is always friendly and attentive. I ordered a bottle of wine the first night and they saved my wine for me for the following nights since I couldn't finish it the first night. I didn't have to ask, they just remembered. Went to chops grille the last night and was a little disappointed. The food was really not much better than the regular dining and they charge so much more. I expected at least better quality of meat (I got the porterhouse) but it was not aged and was a bit tough. I got the crab cake appetizer which was more bread than crab. The only good part was the dessert. The waiters here are selectively attentive. Some people get better attention than others.
I was really pleasantly surprised by the entertainment. They are top notch. I really enjoyed the encore ice show and Saturday night fever musical....was as good as a Broadway production.
I had a really sweet stateroom attendant Jossey. She always greeted us with a smile and made sure we had enough fresh towels each day. Our room had a nice size balcony with 2 chairs and a coffee table which was great in the morning to sit outside to have coffee. You can get free coffee at cafe promenade anytime of the day or order espresso or cappuccino at a nominal charge. It's open 24 hours. Didn't realize that until the last 2 days....
They offer unlimited drink options but at $22/pp for soft drinks or $55/pp that included liquor it wasn't worth it for us. You have to sign up for the duration of the cruise and you can not share with anyone else. The cost of the drinks are not so bad if you decide not to go for the package.
The destination Cozumel was not as interesting to me since I've been there before and it's basically a tourist island. Beaches and snorkeling are nice but that's about it. Taxi to town is $8.00 and to the beaches, around $14/15 depending where you go. It's a set fee so there wasn't any negotiation there. The cruise ships bring a lot of tourist business so they are building more high end stores around the port area. There were 3 cruise ships the day we docked...around 10,000 tourist in one day.

Ship tip
Lunch in the dining room is better than the buffet but you have to get there between 12:00-1:00 or they don't let you in. They have water and coffee at cafe promenade and it's open 24 hours.
