great first time cruise

great way for an overview tour of Europe.
Were not impressed with the on-shore excursions, much more fun, efficient to do it yourself.

Pros: food, bed, service

Toulon itself does not offer much, has to go to nearby cities for more interesting sites.
Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
took 1 hr train ride to Rome. Must try Giolitti gelato, and Tazza D'oro cafe.
Don't Miss: Ancient Rome, Pantheon, Vatican/St. Peter Basilica
Naples, Italy
Try sfogliatella (the regional pastry), L'antica Pizzeria Da Michelle

Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France
transportation to Nice, Monaco was very easy. love Nice. The people are warm and friendly, local cuisine delicious. Must try Fenocchio gelato in Old Nice. one of the best!

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy
