Review summary

The ship was wonderful. It was extremely clean and well maintained. Lots of onboard activities and lots of great food. The kids really enjoyed the ship and didn't want to get off to go see any of the ports. We had to convince them to leave the ship every day.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The dining room is the best place to go and eat all your meals. They have the best food and everything was hot and fresh.

Entertainment

5 out of 5

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The staff at the kids club were so friendly and fantastic with the children. They made it very difficult for the kids to leave the ship because they were having so much fun all the time.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the staff we encountered were very friendly and provided exceptional service. No request was ever denied. They really catered to the children.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was very clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had adjoining Balcony rooms, which meant lots of room for us and the kids. Two bathrooms made getting ready for dinner or the day excursions very fast.

Ports of call

Toulon, France

3 out of 5
Nice relaxing port for strolling through the market and sipping a cappacino or glass of wine.
Don't Miss: The. market

Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France

5 out of 5
Go see Cannes and Monte Carlo.
Don't Miss: The beach in Cannes and the life of the rich and famous in Monte Carlo (expensive sports cars and huge yachts)

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

5 out of 5
A significant amount of driving but it is worth it to go from Pisa to Florence all in a day.
Don't Miss: The Leaning Tower of Pisa in Pisa and the Statue of David in Florence.

Naples, Italy

5 out of 5
Go see Pompeii early in the morning when it is not too hot or crowded. Drive the Amalfi coast and the see Positano. Sorrento was also nice.
Don't Miss: Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

5 out of 5
Everything in Rome is worth seeing! The day is simply not long enough to see everything to the extent that I would have liked. Makes you want to go back again.

Pros: The entire vacation was wonderful, can't say one bad thing about the whole experience.

Cons: Cruise simply wasn't long enough.
