Excellent Cruise

Sail Date: September 24, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

The ship is amazing and the stops on the cruise were great. There is so much to do on the ship. The crew and staff are polite and nice as we would expect on a Royal Caribbean cruise.

Pros: Liberty of the Seas is an amazing ship.

Cons: The food in Chops resturant was good, however they let in a large group that was not dressed per the dress code that was loud and disruptive and disturbed the ambiance

Recommends Liberty of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
This was the largest and nicest ship we have been on.
Food and Dining
Food quality was good in the resturant and in the other eating areas. Over the years I think cruise food quality has decreased overall. Miss the ice sculptures and melon carvings of the past...
Cabin / Stateroom
We were in a Jr Suite which was plenty of room including a walk in closet whcih allowed us to really unpack and get comfortable during the cruise.
Service and Staff
Staff was atentive and helpful.
Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy
We toured Pisa and Florance on our own since we ahd been there several times. On that tour we had about 1 hr in Pisa nd 3.45 hours in Florence whcih was great.
Don't Miss: Florence
Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France
We spent time in Nice, Eze and Monte Carlo. I could have skipped NIce all together and spent more time in Eze and Monte Carlo. Eze is an amazing midevil village on top of a peak that was amazing.
Don't Miss: Eze is a must see
Toulon, France
We visited St Tropaiz
Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
Did the Rome exclusive tour. Saw all the major sites. The Vatican and Sistine chapel were very croweded but the tour is wort it. Would have been OK to have a shorter luch and more time to tour.
Don't Miss: Cistine Chapel
Naples, Italy
Visited Posiatano, Sorrento, and Pompai via coach and had a great time. Would have been OK to have a shorter lunch and more time to tour.
Don't Miss: Posiatano, views of the Amalfi Coast
