Review summary

We were hesitant about going on a smaller ship, but once on board, it didn't take us long to realize how nice it is to be around familiar faces during your cruise and most important, your face becomes so familiar to the service staff.   My most important point to make about this ship is that the staff did not look tired, over-worked and unhappy.   To the contrary, this crew was the happiest bunch we have ever experienced on any of the cruise lines we have sailed with.   People all over were discussing this.   Decent guests feel bad when we are asking service from weary, depressed. exhausted staff.   You feel guilty being on the cruise ship.   Well, not this bunch!!!   And I am including the officers down to the real worker bees.    Ship is a lovely, well-maintained ship.  Was elegantly refurbished in 2013.    Food in Windjammer very good with nice variety.   Food in dining room was a 7 out of 10.   Service excellent throughout ship.   Entertainment good.   Be sure to see the Classical Concert on board performed by the Legend of the Seas musical director.

Elegant ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

We split the beds so it gave us good room in our cabin. If you do not split the beds, you will feel very cramped. Made a 100% difference by doing this. Loved our cabin.

Ship tip

Because the ship is not a large ship and people scurrying here and there all of the time, the ship is a very relaxing environment. Mixed crowd with 30% families or young couples, 30% middle age and 30% seniors was best guess we came up with. We like a mixed group.
