Review summary

Not being experienced cruisers we were very satisfied and in all aspects the cruise/vacation met our expectations. Nothing better to find a quiet corner with a book and a glass of wine with a good book and look at mountains, water and forests. The expeditions were well paced and educational. Positive was the amount of food choices in the evening at both the specialty restaurants and the Lido buffet. Internet speed and reliability was very good for emails etc. not so much for streaming but that is understandable.

Enjoyed the service and menu offerings from the specialty restaurants. Buffets were organized well and again many choices. Service was attentive at the buffet

Enjoyed the track which we used every morning, fitness center was very well equipped.

only attended 1 of the stage shows which was the opening show and it was entertaining! Enjoyed the Billboard music, the trivia contest and the rolling stone bar for the music and drinks.

Can't say enough good things about the cabin staff ( DaDa) and the bar tenders along with the staff at the specialty restaurants.

Organized and easy to find, at times the elevators were slow especially at peak times but nothing wrong with using the steps!

Perfect size, clean, well looked after and the balcony was a nice addition.

Ship tip

No need to take books to read as the ship has a wonderful well stocked library from the classics to the latest best sellers!

Booked a tour and it turned out we were the only ones so we had a private tour by Norm a very knowledgable 78 yr old native of Ketchickan. A pleasant 2.5 hour trip listening to Norm talk about the area, the wildlife and we saw a black bear! Kudos to Norm!
