Review summary

It was a great cruise. We disliked the CONSTANT asking if we wanted our photo taken. Every night! Too much.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Embarkation was harried with long lines. I had been given an early time to board, only to find that the rules had been changed. Yet, thanks to a kind employee, we managed to be on in time for a scheduled lunch.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food as wonderful. We had fixed dining and our wait staff could not have been more attentive. Lobster and beef Wellington were my favorite dinners, and we avoided the buffet, unless it was necessary. Breakfast choices and service in the dining room were good. Additionally, the Dive In was a great choice as an alternative lunch. The Dutch cafe pea soup was wonderful. We ate at the Tamarind, Pinnacle Grill, and Canaletto on selected days and had wonderful meals. I highly recommend the Swedish pancakes for breakfast in the dining room for breakfast.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We enjoyed bridge instruction with Carol. Fun activity!

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The entertainment was good with several great shows. However, the last half of the voyage had several times with no entertainment with the exception of movies in the theater that were already available on our televisions. Rick Steel, Jeff Burghart, and the American Sirens were great. The classical trio was fabulous. How wonderful to have that option.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our wait staff Kemal and Slamet tended to our every need and always with a smile. Our cabin steward Agong was phenomenal. All cruise personnel were friendly.
