Review summary
This was a cruise that was rescheduled twice during Covid. It was on our bucket list to go to Hawaii in the French Polynesian. Although Hawaii was beautiful, the French Polynesian was stunning.Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
The Dining Room
We had a table of six, and rarely over an hour for all of us to eat, which I thought was pretty reasonable. Nice selection of food. And on the 35 day cruise, I believe we had lobster included on the menu three times.
Dive-In
The burgers were very good. They were not greasy at all, and they were nice and thick. The hotdogs were very similar to Costco hotdogs very good. And I had a chicken sandwich and I thought it was very tasty.
Lido Market
I found the food was very tasty and had a nice selection
Explorations Café
The coffee is good in the views are always nice in the crows nest
Onboard Activities
Sea View Pool
Hot tubs were consistently about 102°, sometimes warmer. The pool generally was between 85 and 90. Only had an issue one time at the pool got dirty/cloudy and I mentioned it to a staff member that I hadn’t swam in it in two days because I didn’t feel comfortable swimming in water like that. By the next morning, it was crystal clear she was taking care of very quickly.
Entertainment
World Stage
We really enjoyed the comedian. Jeff and Ric Steele was also had great performances.

Ship tip
Try to take advantage of all the different music venues provided on the ship they’re quite enjoyable. They have a nice gym. The hot tubs are usually 102° so they’re nice. The pool at the aft is heated usually warmer than the midship pool.
